Prof. Dr. Gabor Petzold

Gabor Petzold is the Director of Clinical Research at DZNE and the Chair of the Department of Vascular Neurology at University Hospital Bonn. His research interests are neurovascular disorders such as stroke, cerebral amyloid angiopathy, cerebral small-vessel disease and post-stroke cognitive impairment, as well as the vascular conitrubtion to Alzheimer’s disease. He serves as Principal Investigator in interventional and observational trials on these conditions. Moreover, he supervises a translational research program aimed at identifying novel treatment targets and biomarkers for these conditions.“
