Good Scientific Practice
The one-day course on Good Scientific Practice based on the DFG-Memorandum “Proposals for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice” (2013) has to be attended by every PhD student in the first year of their doctoral thesis.
The course focuses on the perspectives of doctoral researchers from Life Sciences by introducing and discussing the following topics:
– Introduction into ethics and good scientific practice
– Basic rules of good scientific practice and addressing scientific misconduct
– Ethical aspects of research methods
