Research Focus
Our group is interested in the development of biostatistical methods and their application to health research data. We conduct methodological research that is motivated by scientific questions arising from our study projects at the University Hospital Bonn. Our main areas of research include regression modeling, time-to-event analysis, and statistical learning.
Furthermore, we are involved in various clinical and epidemiological research collaborations, providing statistical support for projects in the neurosciences, ophthalmology, pharmacoepidemiology, nutritional epidemiology, intensive care, and others.
