Research Focus
The research focus of the professorship is on methods of nutritional assessment in epidemiological studies as well as the investigation of nutrition and lifestyle as risk factors for chronic diseases. The Chair of Nutritional Epidemiology is involved in the establishment of various cohort studies in adults and has been leading the Dortmund long-term study DONALD since 2012.
